What's your dream pet?

purplepuggles post below got me thinking about pets. So what's your dream pet?

When H and I move into our house, hopefully the fall, I want to get these:

(I'll also make goats milk soap from these)

and these because I love pigs and will not raise to eat them like many of my family members do.

I want horses, again. I used to have one and my degree is in Equine Science so I worked with them for a long time. However, I haven't been able to spend much time around them in the past 10 years and I really miss them!!!

like, realistic dream pet? or totally dream worthy would never ever ever happen b/c it's a wild animal dream pet?

first would be a sugar glider.

crazy wild animal dream pet would be a dolphin. or maybe a tiger.

oooh a penguin would be so fun!! There's an autistic child I know that took one from an aquarium and put it in his backpack. Don't ask me how no one saw or found out until he took it out a few hours later!

At some point I'd love to have horses and chickens. But right now the BIG want is a dog (or two)--large breed shelter puppies. Gotta get a house first, though.

I have my dream pet, but he is getting old and crotchety and infirmed and it's sad. So I would want my boxer to be young and happy and healthy again. He was a near-perfect pet. Ruckus, but without the need to eat stuffed animals and Ruckus who didn't pee on the floor when my husband's male friends would come over and greet him. Ruckus who didn't find my underwear and socks and eat them. But otherwise... Ruckus.

A horse, most definitely. I rode quite a bit growing up and worked at a barn. I miss horses, terribly!

I want a pair of horses so I can ride again and teach the kids as they grow. I also want chickens (fresh eggs) and some rescue dogs. I want to adopt a greyhound and then whatever loveables we can get from a local shelter would be great.
