I had my NT scan today to check for Down Syndrome. The NT scan measures your relative risk. So, the risk for a normal 38 year old is 1 in 132 (as in one out of 132 babies will be born with Down), but my risk came back 1 in 1,399 - essentially the same risk as a 20 year old!! The test results are really good and I feel really happy, but thanks to the years of IF, I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. For now, I'm just focusing on being happy. We're telling our parents tonight. Maybe that will make it seem more real?

Congrats on the great results. Getting past the NT results is huge.
As for waiting for the other shoe to drop- my son is 2 1/2 and I'm still waiting- it never ends! We'll worry about potential problems forever!
