There is Subway and Mcdonald's en route from the parking ramp to Children's Museum.
I don't know how their 2 year old is, but we don't purposefully cater to our kids all the time so if you left downtown completely just eat wherever the parents want
We always eat at Fuji Ya. Not sure if their child would object, but you could give it a shot. The Subway/McDonald's is a quick and easy solution, but it's a madhouse of screaming. We usually try to avoid that place.

I think the Children's Museum is DT St. Paul, right?
What about Pop! ? I think they are pretty kid friendly and the food is great for adults.
