I think I have Central Heterochromia

I was playing around on Google looking for that website that tells you what color your kids eyes will be and discovered that I might have something called Central Heterochromia. The outer half of my iris is blue but around the pupil (black part) it is either green or a gold color (I can't decide which - it may be both).

I've always thought I had hazel eyes b/c they are a mix of colors, then I looked up what hazel was and it is brown eyes with light gold in them. An article I was reading said that people with central heterochromia should go by what color the outer rim is. The color in the outer rim is the true color of the eye. I've wanted blue eyes my entire life, now I have them. Sorta.

Another funny thing is that my DH has blue eyes but a small brown dot in his left eye. I guess that means he has a form of heterochromia too. I can only imagine what my kids are going to end up looking like! Does anyone else have this or know more about it?

    I have gotten a lot of compliments on my eyes before, but I never liked them b/c I never knew how to tell people what color they are. Now that I have some answers, I'm kinda proud of my rare eye color!

    Wow that's really interesting! I never knew that existed.  I makes me want to research mine now! I have blue eyes that change to green at times.  Not like... blue green.... but like... vibrant green... and when they are blue they are bright blue.... *skips off to google*

    Oooh oooh I have that too!  I always thought that my eyes were hazel as well...interesting.  What website were you looking at that can tell what color eyes your children will have?

    Our stats are 37.5% Blue, 12.5% Green, or 50% Brown.  Interesting =)

    That's cool!  I have blue green eyes, they have a yellowish ring around the pupil and Dh has blue eyes and his left eye has a big brown spot.

    I did the little test and it came out that 100% of our kids would have blue eyes LMAO..it's right so far!
