3rd Trimester

What food have you craved the most?

Me: SALT & VINEGAR CHIPS!!! I seriously have eaten at least 50 bags of salt and vinegar chips since I got pregnant. I lierally have at least 2 bags of chips beside our bed so when I can't sleep I snack. Peanut butter and McDonald's french fries are pretty popular with me too!

  • It is random...it changes every day I swear. Yesterday I just bought 3 different types of melons because that is what I was craving. Today I don't want them. :sigh:

  • I have gone in spurts with my cravings. If I want buffalo chicken, I will go to town with buffalo chicken for a few weeks and then move on to the next thing. Right now, it is mustard.

  • Christmas time was cheeseballs.  I typically turn to Fiber One Bars (chocolate & Oat) or cereal.
  • Fresh fruit...any and all kinds.  I would've made myself sick last night if DH hadn't have taken the 5 lb tub of strawberries away from me!  LOL

  • My biggest cravings have been sweet and salty foods. (Unfortunately!) I've also been having fruit cravings off and on.
  • Almonds!  I have never craved anything the way I crave almonds.  I LOOOOVE any variety...sallted, smoked, or just plain raw...

    And cheese, but specifically either mozzerella OR parmesean cheese (the shredded kind, not the powdery grated kind).  I buy mozz string cheese at the bulk food store (along with almonds) and I literally ate (by sprinkling it into my hand and dumping it into my mouth) the largest container of shredded parm that the grocery store had in less than a week.

  • Mine always changes...but right now I'm loving peanut butter. PB crackers, ritz bits, peanut butter cups, and ESPECIALLY that peanut butter and jelly that comes mixed together. I love eating it right out of the jar- no sense in bread. Smile
  • Like others, it really depends on the day!  But I have consistently craved Oriental Top Ramen-sooo weird and random-I think for a period of about a month during the end of 1st tri that's all I ate for lunch!

  • Not a food, but MILK.  I can't get enough of it.  I drink at least 3 gallons a  week. 
  • During the 2nd tri I craved Mac 'N Cheese.  Now it's fruit, like pineapples, straberries, oranges and so on.  It really depend on the day though

  • I would definitely say chips: tortilla, potato, & Doritos. Also JELL-O and Peanut Butter Cups. So not the healthiest menu, but super delicious!

  • I haven't really craved one particular thing. I definitely have a thing for sweets (cakes, pies, cookies- especially oreos) and I have craved fruit a lot.

  • McDonalds french fries, chocolate milk, and chips! I'm trying to turn it around for the last trimester...and we are eating TONS of veggies in this house!! And snacks are now apples with peanut butter. I do feel tons better too!!
  • Brown rice with cherry tomatoes with a little soy sauce, pho and steamed broccoli with jalepenos. Yum!!
  • Anything CHOCOLATE! Brownies, cookies, straight up chocolate syrup from the bottle, you name it. I am not a sweets person either.?

  • I didn't have any cravings until the 3rd tri.

    Root beer floats are my weakness. AND chocolate (I just made homemade fudge after I ate lunch) Embarrassed

  • I've just really wanted a snow cone since the 1st tri. However, I don't think they'll be avaible until Memorial Day ( which is right around the time LO is due).

    DH is getting me a mini snow cone maker before we have our next child. He feels bad that what I want is not readily available.  

  • Fresh fruit - specifically strawberries, canteloupe, and bananas, along with fresh sugar snap peas, and string cheese.
  • Cake, fruit and milk : ) 
  • Honey Combs!! I have gone through BOXES and BOXES....
  • Turkish food! Specifically Doner Kebob and hummus.

    I also have been really into chunky peanut butter! We used to buy the all natural kind, but since I got PG all I've wanted is the crap kind (Jiff, Skippy, etc)...must be the sugar.

  • Spoonfuls of peanut butter and melted mozzerella cheese (I put shredded mozz cheese in a bowl and microwave it) WTF

  • Mine are mostly random, but I have also had the salt and vinegar chips craving and am not usually a big fan of any kind of chips.  Also I have become obsessed with feta, mostly in salads with walnuts.  We bought a 3lb bag of walnuts and huge thing of feta at Costco over the weekend in honor of my cravings :)

  • I can sum up the trimesters based on 1-2 cravings I had the whole time during them. 1st was fruits, any fruit but specifically bananas and apples though peaches and grapes were among my cravings as well. 2nd was steak and potatoes, we went out to eat a few times during this period because I wanted steaks, mashed potatoes and baked potatoes all in one meal. 3rd tri has been junk, brownies and ice cream mostly, and vegies, I will randomly open up a can of green beans because it sounds so heavenly.
  • I drool for anything sweet mainly desserts:  cake, cupcakes, pie, ice cream

    but also french toast, pancakes, muffins

    I've been pretty good with not indulging too much.  Although, my obsessive thoughts about sweets are driving me f'ing crazy!

  • Bean,cheese and rice burritos and chocolate!

  • Chocolate milk and peanut butter.  I've had odd cravings here and there all the way through, but those never change.
  • lately it's been watermelon, in the second trimester it was shrimp stir fry, and occasionally i really want ice cream... one of these days I am going to give in and get a DQ blizzard... but so far I have been good. 

    oh and apparently i go through a lot of milk!

  • Fruit - specifically cherries, watermelon and now grapefruit, but it has to be cold.  I've even mixed the fruit with ice.
  • First tri it was cheeseburgers. They knew me by name at Five Guys. Now it is dairy--milkshakes, soft serve frozen yogurt, milk...yummy! And I am always thirsty. I am constantly drinking milk & Vitamin Water.
  • First tri it was cereal. I ate tons of cereal. 2nd tri was potatoes in any form. The last few weeks have been Subway steak and cheese sandwiches toasted. Yum! I also go through about a gallon and a half of soy milk per week.

  • Mine change so often...the only consistant things have been hot sauce on everything, fruit, and ice tea.
