I have a Zooper Tango and I LOVE it! It's a side by side stroller...can fit a car seat on it and both seats recline and have their own sun shades! It fits through all doorways also. It's so durable and lightweight. It's my FAV baby thing I have bought:)
I have a 3 1/2 year old, and we got the Baby Trend Sit and Stand stroller. We LOVE it! DD1 is independent, and likes the option to sit or stand in her spot. She also LOVES riding along with DS. It's somewhat long, but as far as weight, it's the same as my travel system stroller that only holds ds. Also, it's not too terribly expensive.

Good luck!
this, my DD1 is 22 months old and loves it. its fairly easy to move and i think weighs the same as a regular combo stroller for the carseat adn all that, plus it fits all carseat models so you dont have to buy extra things for it
I have a Combi side-by-side and I love it. Super lightweight, easy to open and close, seat covers come off to wash, clips shut, has a carrying strap, sunshades and basket for each side. We have a Peg Perego infant seat that fits into the one side and is really secure. About another month and we'll put DS into the actual stroller seat in a reclined position. DD sits in the other side and DS1 holds onto a tag-a-long we attach to the one side. It also takes up less space in my truck than a travel system. It was $230, but I used a BBB coupon at Buy Buy Baby and saved 20%

Same here! This has been a hit at our house. If you can snag a 20% coupon for BRU, you can get it for around $100.
We have the Baby Jogger City Mini Double stroller and love it. We seriously tried every stroller under $1000. I have a 2 year old and a newborn.
The reason we didn't go with a simple sit n stand is that DD still falls asleep in the stroller and that isn't possible in a SnS.
We chose a side by side after a friend with twins recommended it. She said her kids would fight over who got to ride in the front.
This stroller is great.
fits through all doorways. Both seat totally recline separately to almost flat. Separate sun shades. Good storage underneath. 50 pound weight limit so DD1 can ride it in past 4 years. (Some doubles we looked at had a 40 pound weight limit and DD is already 34 pounds.) The stroller only weighs 24 pounds and is super easy to fold. It has a universal car seat adapter so it is like a travel system. It is good on gravel and cement.

I got the Maclaren Triumph. I love it. The side reclines for DS and DD can get in and out no problem. She loves the single so she is great in the double. It is lightweight and isnt super wide at all. I didnt want to push a bus and I dont feel that way with this. It is only a couple of inches wider than my Mountain Buggy single.

i have heard the maclaren techno double is great for older kids but you can't use it till your little one is old enough to sit in that seat....
baby jogger city mini might be a good choice for you.
