Mommies of 1 year olds...meal question?

What is a typical breakfast, lunch and dinner for your baby? Has your baby had any digestive problems after eating certain foods?

My babies meal schedule:

Breakfast: Oatmeal and Banana

Snack: crackers cheese

Lunch: Sweet potatoe, banana

Snack: Oatmeal, cheese or more fruit

Dinner: Whatever we are eating typically veggies, rice, chicken, sweat potatoe, or some variation of that.

  • Your menu looks great to me! The only think I might change would be to add in some protein to his lunch. DS sometimes snacks on a waffle, Puffins, or Cheerios, too. He sometimes seems to get his stomach bothered by too much cheese, but he does well with a little bit of it so he only gets it a couple of times a week - that's the only thing that's really different from your meal plan. Great job!

  • Katie is in daycare for breakfast and lunch.  She eats something different everyday. She is on all table food no baby food. He are some examples

    My babies meal schedule:

Breakfast: either- yourgurt & fruit, french toast, pancakes, turkey sausage

Snack: usually no am snack - maybe graham crackers

Lunch: quesadilla, turkey sandwich, misc veggies, veggie burger, fish sticks

Snack: gold fish, string cheese, fruit

Dinner: Whatever we are eating - veggies, pasta, pizza, meatloaf, chicken, Fruit for dessert

She has not had any issues with any food.

  • Our menu currently goes something like this:

     Breakfast: cheerios

    Snack: cheerios

    Lunch: cheerios and cheese

    Snack: cheerios

    Dinner: cheerios and cheese

I wish I was kidding. DS is a terrible eater and seems to accept less and less foods all the time. We are seeing a nutritionist. He at least drinks his formula and milk well.

Anyway, obviously I have nothing to contribute to your question but I just saw your name and wanted to say HI! How are you doing? Can you believe we have 14 month olds?!?!?!?

  • DD has been pretty picky lately, but here is an example.  She has had no digestive problems so far.

Breakfast: Oatmeal, fruit and waffles or pancakes.

    Snack: Goldfish

Lunch: Sandwich (PB&J, grilled cheese, or cold cuts and cheese) or chicken nuggets, some sort of veggie, yogurt

Snack: crackers or fruit or cheese, or a sandwich if she is really hungry.

    Dinner: Usually whatever we eat.
