anyone else feel this way?

Not to get all emotional on you ladies but I'm really freaked out about NOT being pregnant.
Don't get me wrong I can't wait to meet my baby and be a parent, but I just can't imagine him being an "outside baby". I love that he's always with me and that I'm the only one that knows when he's kicking, or sleeping, or jamming his little feet into my ribs. I guess I'm just not ready to share my baby.

    i think about it. The fact that Ill have to share him and have people contaminate him =) but at the same time I am done being pg and i have 11 wks left! I have aches and pains, and gallbladder issues, uti's you name it. I cant wait to meet him and see DH hold him. I do feel that way sometimes, and im sure ill feeel that way when hes out at times, but for now i want my stomach back =)

    Not me, but this is #3 for me, and I've been either PG or nursing since February 2005 - that's a LONG time! I'm actually tired of being PG for so long....... Hang in there - it's definitely normal to feel this way!

    Kinda, but in a different way I guess. Now that I'm full term I'm starting to get anxious about her coming out..but also nervous as hell! I will NOT miss being pregnant at all, but I also don't really want to share her with anyone but DH. I want her out, but I'm afraid to do anything that might encourage that [having sex or whatever] because that means that holy crap, my entire life is about to change!!

    I do love the selfish part of being pregnant, having the baby all to myself. I find myself drifting off during conversations or while I'm doing stuff if he/she starts moving around - it's like  a little secret or something, haha...

    That being said, having HAD an outside baby, it's SO awesome! Nothing can beat the smell of a newborn or how cuddly they are. It's just an amazing thing when they are actually here.

    earthbound - We have the same due date :)

    I think thats why I'm feeling this way, it's like HOLY CRAP I can go into labor anytime and no one is going to stop this kid from coming out.

    I understand what you mean, I am super nervous about her being here and I don't even remember what it's like to not be pregnant.
