I know I shouldnt care or let it bother me but it does.

I know a lot of DH's family doesnt like me. I know since we no longer go over there on sundays due to an incident that happened in feburary that they sit there and talk sh!t. I know this for sure because MIL informed DH about what his aunts and uncles are saying. I know I shouldnt care... I know I shouldnt let it bother me.. but it does. blahh

    awww....sorry you've got to deal with that.  How can you not care a little. It's your husband's family after all.  Hope it eventually smooths over.

    I know exactly how you feel.  My IL's do the same thing.  They'll even made nasty remarks about me when I'm there.  I've stopped going to their house.  DH takes DS every few weeks and I use that time to get things done around the house.  It bothers me and hurts my feelings, but I wish it didn't.

    Exactly...you don't need to be filled in them bashing you.  Nothing good will come out of it.  Screw them!

    There's a couple of my husband's relatives that I've had bad run-ins with in the past and I don't have contact with them...no skin off my back.  They aren't my flesh and blood, I don't care if they aren't in my life...good riddance.
