This is a weekly post of the Christian Mommies Group. We are a group of mothers who desire to raise our children in the Christian faith. Come and join us to pray, share ideas, and have fellowship with other Christian Mommies of toddlers! Look for this post each Monday.

How are you? Any news to share or prayer requests to add? If so, please let us know!
Here's a really neat blog that I found this past week that I enjoy reading, written by a Christian mommy! Really inspiring and kind of like devotions for Christian moms. LOVE it! https://achristianmommy.com/
It gave me this thought - what do YOU do, as a Christian mom, to further your own personal relationship with Christ?
Re: ** Christian Mommies Group **
I hope everyone is doing good and has a great week! I am enjoying being a part of this group.
I read my Bible daily and pray every day. I make sure to pray for my son every day because I can always remember my mom telling me she prayed for me every day when I was little (and she still does). That always made me feel so special.
That's wonderful! DH and I started doing this after our 2nd daughter was born. We had always prayed for DD1 too, but we didn't make it part of our regular daily routine. Now we pray for them both every night, and pray for our marriage as well. I definitely think it has helped strengthen our relationship with each other, with our daughters, and with God.
As a Christian mom, I think life can get so busy that sometimes we forget to give thanks for the everyday things. DH and I have made it a point to give thanks for every meal, pray more regularly, etc.
Prayer request: please keep my DS in your prayers as he starts his speech therapy.
That's a great idea about praying for your marriage too. I don't think I do that enough. I can always think to pray for my son, but sometimes that's all I think about and I need to nurture the marriage too. Thanks for reminding me of that.
I love the idea of just giving thanks and I'll be praying for all of you as your son starts therapy.
Praying for you! This is the best thing we could have done for Paige! :-)
Hi! I am checking in! I am in Bible Study Fellowship - this puts me in my Bible every day studying God's word. I will say I lack at praying and thanking GOd for the things in my life. So that is my prayer request. That I will come closer to God so that through me people may see Him - especially Paige! I want her to have a love for God and she won't learn that unless she sees it through me!
Good morning ladies! I pray for a blessed week for all of you. Thank you for the Christain Mommy blog. To remember to keep the Lord first I have been praying for the family everyday as Satan is ever present when we get closer to Christ to tempt and test us. I have a calendar with daily scriptures I read. I keep daily devotions around. DH and I read a marriage daily devotional for us. As for family and friends I created a Facebook page called "keep the faith." I find scriptures or lessons we learn in church to post up. Here is the link

Please continue to keep our family in your prayer. We are a blended family and some days there are up hill battles. We continue to pray for a positive end result and for my SS a well adjusted environment in both households.
