Baby Whisperer PU/PD method?

Has anyone used it?

I am about to using on DD to get her to sleep in her crib from the swing. I can't deal with Ferber.

    I have.  It's really hard to start with (I just wanted to snuggle her rather than put her down immediately) and I think I had to do about 20 reps, but after the initial time, it got much easier (down to about 10, then about 5, then maybe one once in a while).  Good luck!

    DH and I have used it. The first time it took 40 min of PU/PD before she finally drifted off to sleep. DH was so proud that he was the one to get her to do it. It is VERY HARD at first, but they are essentially CIO in your arms, to say the least.
