I am the WORST!! I keep looking at my registry to see if anything has been bought and you'll have to forgive me, I'm only human, but it makes me so sad that my shower is this SATURDAY and I can tell noone has really been shopping yet. I know I tend to be a last minute shopper so I'm sure everyone will probably be the same but am I the only one that stalks my registry this way?
Re: Have you been stalking your registry before your baby shower?
I stalk my registry daily. Saturday was my 1st shower and I'm surprised at how many items I got from my registry along with a bazillion gender neutral outfits. Many people waited until friday night and Saturday morning to buy the gift.
I can't believe I have 2 more showers. How on earth am I going to fit all of the stuff in our little nursery?! lol.
I'm guilty too ~blush~

I'm constantly updating mine as we get stuff, so it's hard not to notice! I bought crib sheets online so went in to delete what was on the registry and was shocked to see somebody had purchased our bumbo chair already (shower invites arrived late last week). At least I have one friend that's on the ball!
So I went ahead and deleted the bumbos from the other registries ( did duplicate items at 3 different stores to try to make it convenient for people, since my store of choice doesn't have a ton of locations yet)
LOL - you broke the bump!
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless
My mom sent our invites out on Thursday and last night (Sunday) I looked and there were four things that were already bought. I am sure I will be looking all the time now. So exciting!
I am the worst, I look at mine all the time. The problem is people don't buy off of a registry as often as they should. They buy what they think you need or what looks cute. I got so many blankets, clothes - wrong size/season, and safety kits at my shower it was unreal. A lot of people shopped at wal-mart too. I ended up taking back over $100 worth of stuff and I still have more to take back. I'm not ungreatful for what they bought me, I appreciate everything and everyone taking the time to come to my shower and buy things for my sweet baby boy. But he can only use so many receiving blankets and onsies.
The great thing about returnig items, is you can pick up the stuff that you really need. With my store credit at walmart I stocked up on bath supplies, wipes, bottles, passifiers, etc. The not so cute stuff people didn't think to buy.
:raises hand:
I tell myself not to do it, but that doesn't work.
I'm guilty. Every day I check my registry to see if anything has been bought.
Someone bought ALL of my cloth diapers well before the invitations even went out... but since the invitations went out (they were mailed like a week and a half ago) there has been nothing purcahsed. I figure people will wait til last minute, which makes me a little nervous because my high chair, swing, bouncer, etc, are all online only items, but I'm so excited to see what people get, on the registry or off
Yup, that's how I was too! I noticed that right away my big items got bought quick (probably my stepmom & mother in law), but that was right after the invites went out. Since then... nada! Driving me nutso!
Too funny!
