Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Is there a 10 month growth spurt?

Jake drank 20oz over 5 hours, plus half a solid feeding.

8oz at 1, 6oz at 5, 7oz at 6:30, plus half a Stage 2 and cheerios at 5:30.

Is this when the boys 'eat you out of house and home' kicks in?

  • I think so!  Noah is humongous so he tends to hit the growth spurts a couple weeks early.  This weekend all he's been doing is eating and sleeping.  I mean, he's sleeping an extra 3-4 hours during the day!

  • I'm starting to believe this is true!  Ben is an eating machine.  He's still constant with his 30 oz. of formula, but he wants more solids, especially of whatever you're eating.  The kid will eat anything!

Eli is doing the same thing, but he wants more formula than solids.  He took nearly 40 oz. of formula on Friday!  If his teeth weren't hurting so badly, I think he'd eat more solids, but until those feel better, he's sticking to bottles!

I've started giving them more of our table foods because they're going to bankrupt us buying baby food!

  • wowsa. that 5 hour intake is more than monk eats in one day. no wonder he is so small.
