did you give the pastor anything special to say thank you? we made a donation to the church and i'm gonna send the pastor a thank you card. what did you all do?

We just did a donation to the church. We invited our priest to the luncheon but he couldn't come.

DH is a pastor and he doesn't like to accept monetary gifts. If people want to give $, he always asks them to give it to the church.

A card or some other small token of thanks is nice though. :-)

We didn't do anything - it's not customary in our church. We did invite him to lunch afterward but he already had plans.
