Feel dumb asking...opinions?

I'm sure this will have TMI here and there...

Saturday I was drying my furbabies from their bath and felt something kind of fall out. I stood, checking and found a puddle of white goop surrounded in just a wet looking puddle. Didn't smell like pee at all so I headed for the bathroom. When I wiped so began a little brown discharge that was thicker. I phoned my OB's on call he said no worries things were just working the way they're supposed to but call with any concerns, more questions or if anything else happens.

Sunday, the brown discharge continues for the most part every time I head to pee. I notice sometimes goop in the toilet which I'm thinking, mucous plug for sure. Then begins "period" and "I have to poop" like cramps in my lower belly and lower back. They come about 8 or 9 each hour, seem to be 30 to 45 secs in duration (I couldn't really time them other then with the clock I had in the car)

Sunday night as we're going to bed they definitely feel more intense so I use contractionmaster to time them. They're about 8 to 10 min apart.

I kept waking up at all hours in the middle of this intense cramping feeling. I stay relaxed, breathing so they're not phasing me too much.

So here I am. 6:35am, very intense "period" like cramping in my lowler belly and back coming in 6 min intervals (timing on contractionmaster) and lasting just over a min each.

Sound like labor? I feel dumb for asking but they're just not as strong or intense as some of the ones I've felt before. I don't seem to be leaking, no gush of water and the brown discharge has stopped. Opinions, please :) I would appreciate it.

    Ohh sounds like it to me. Wait till they come in every 5 minutes & then phone your doc. :)

    Definitely sounds like labor, they just need to get a little closer and/or more intense. Hope it's soon!

    I also have no experience but if that were me, I would think I was in labor for sure.  Wait it out a little longer and then call your doc!  Keep us updated!

    Thanks so much ladies :) I felt dumb for asking but I definitely wanted some opinions since they're not like ones I've felt before. These really hit my back more it seems. When walking I do have to pause and take a moment. If talking I usually stop, take a few breaths and can try to continue.

    I'm just another 1st timer throwing her opinion in there- it sounds like labor!  Like PPs said, wait until they're closer and call dr.  Sending you lots of easy labor dust!
