QOTW: What is the BEST TTC advice you were ever given? Doesn't matter if it works or not. Only that it gave you a good feeling or hope.

I know that everyone HATES this advice, but it was helpful for me after put it into context for my situation (I hope I don't get flamed). Someone told me to "relax about TTC". So that it would apply to me, I took it as "relaxing" so that I would not drive myself crazy with temping, having sex at the right time, scrutinizing my FF chart, etc. This is the first cycle I am trying this advice. Honestly, I am still planning to do everything I need to do to get our LO, but I will try to "relax" a little and not let it consume me. I hope that makes sense.

I am on TTC #3, CD12.

Like Haribo, I've been told to "relax" or that it's all in God's time. I don't temp or FF but I do use OPK's.

Another piece of advice I have received is to not tell DH when I O. I really don't have to tell him, he can tell. So, what new advice do you have? LOL

I am cd#1 and just plan to keep using Femtrol and EPO. I can't promise anything else, we are moving and I just don't know if I can stick to anything, like going to the gym and eating healthier. The way I figure, I've missed 2010 so I have no deadlines, in fact, I'd rather have a spring baby rather than a winter baby. Wink

'Just wait and let it happen'............easy for them to say when they have up to 4 kids already!!!! I cant just wait and let it happen im going to be 39!!!! Ok deep breath.....i have yet to get some GOOD advice, i think FF and charting was the best stumbled upon advice yet!!! I came over from the knot and wouldnt have found this site if i didnt, its GREAT and a big shout out to all the ladies!!!

Well im on CD7 on cycle 7 and looking forward to '0'ing Big Smile , i seen my doc last week, she took blood samples and i am waiting for results, she has also referred me to a fertility clinic, kinda looking forward to that!! GL to you ladies and im praying some beautiful BFPs come our way today!!!

Update = BFN. I'm stopping the prometrium today and we'll wait for AF. My RE is on vacation, so I'm hopeful that he's checking in and can get the ball rolling for an IUI this cycle. I'm starting to run out of hope since that was our last chance for a 2010 baby. I just have a bad feeling that there's something more going on with my reproductive system than what we know so far. I'm not in the best of moods today, obviously.

QOTW: I really don't know if anyone's given me ANY good advice! I've had friends tell me to enjoy the family that I have with my stepdaughters. That's probably the best advice. I keep reminding myself to be grateful for what I have, and that includes getting to be a stepmother.

Update: I hav my baseline u/s on Weds...hoping everything is nice and suppressed. Then we start Follistim and Menopur on Saturday for IVF#2.

QOTW: I think the best advice came from my OBGYN...she told me not to wait too long before seeking the help of an RE. I have already been at he RE for 14 months now so I'm glad I only waited 5 months before I made the appt.
