S/O Mucus Plug

I read the post below about how the bumpie found a 'slug' in her undies (LMAO). Is the MP always bloody? A few days ago I felt alot of wetness in my undies and went to the bathroom....had a large 'slug' like thing in my undies that was yellowish in color. I didn't really exam or look at it at all.....just change my underwear because I was completely grossed out ;-)

So....is your MP always bloody or sometimes does it just look like a huge chunk of discharge?

    No, it's not always bloody.

    But it never means that you're going into labor any time soon, so it's really not something to get worked up over. 

    FWIW, increased vaginal discharge is completely normal at this point.

    Guess I'll just mention it at my next appointment! Doesn't sound like it truly means anything though

    I'm assuming you are talking about my post...and my slug wasn't bloody either!  And to make things even more exciting, when I went to the bathroom a bit ago, there was a TRIPLE HUGE slug when I wiped.  It's like really thick nasty yellowish snot, if that helps.

    I posted a couple times about this yesterday... even found a great google picture (TMI but oh well!) Some thought it was mucus plug and some said it was just a major increase in discharge. I tend to believe it's the mucus plug. It doesn't always all come out so sometimes it won't be bloody or won't be pink tinged. Mine was also yellowish and it freaked me out. I guess click on my name and you can read back on the posts I did... might help a bit. Huh?
