best strollers for a NYC parent?

The selection of strollers out there is so overwhelming. Does anyone have a favorite for trekking around the city? pros/cons...any advice is hugely appreciated!

    It really depends on your baby's age, but you kind of need something light and easy to maneuver. Start at Buy Buy baby and do a test run.

    we bought our baby jogger city mini at buy buy baby and love it. very easy to get around the city with and is pretty lightweight.

    I spent a few hrs at Buy Buy today- what a mess. The strollers area was so messy and crowded, with barely any staff to ask questions to.

     I didn't find any of the ones I'd shortlisted from their website.

     Is there anywhere else in close vicinity to the city to test out more strollers? Unlike cribs and other baby items, I feel really strongly about wanting to try it out before purchasing.
