It's not my kid so I don't really care, but this is when I feel bad for celebs kids. In a few years when she's in school somebody could totally find that picture and make fun of her : (
Re: So WDYT of Suri using a bottle?
Isn't she having a sibling soon? I thought that kids liked to act like babies when they are getting ready for a new sibling, or when one arrives.
You don't know how often she uses one, if this was a one time thing, etc.
So no judging on my part.

I think it's funny she gets slammed for being too mature (heels on a toddler! ZOMG!) and slammed for being too immature for this one.
Do I think 4 is kind of super old for a bottle? Sure, but whatever. Not my kid.

lol, who recommends weaning off of the bottle at 9 months?
I don't care what Suri is doing and I also feel bad for celeb kids b/c of things like this.
I think still drinking from a bottle at 4yo is probably the thing about that little girl's weird life that will have the least longterm impact.
Exactly. her daddy is Tom Cruise. Let her have her bottle.
lol
OMG, I can NOT stop laughing! LOL!
baby #4 due March '17!
Yeah, they might be chairjumping loons, but they aren't dangling her over a balcony, holding her in the front seat while driving and being pursued by paparazzi, or teasing alligators with her bare feet.
It doesn't take a lot to not be the worst parent on the block in Hollywood.
I know! Where did Mr. Knowitall come up with that?
It would definitely suck to be a celeb kid.
Since when do pediatricians recommend weaning from the bottle at 9 months? I love how Perez Hilton is now the expert in child development.
I truly do not care whether their kid still takes a bottle. At all.

I think extended bottlefeeding is a Scientology thing. Leah Remini got absolutely slammed a few years back for admitting that her preschool aged daughter still took a bottle. A bottle full of rice and barley water, which is apparently the "healthier" option. Formula is a no-go in Scientology, and breastfeeding is considered even worse.
Seriously?!?! How on earth did they draw that conclusion?
Me too....and did any think that maybe she picked up another babies bottle? I don't know my son picks up any old bottle even a toy one and tries to drink it. They are in a public place...a picture is worth 1000 words I guess.
But really WHO cares?
So what do they feed their infants? How are they not all seriously malnourished?
i mean, i don't care in the way that i would think about it longer than 2 minutes, but i have the same reaction as KG. 4 year olds with pacis and bottles is weird, but i mean, Scientology is weird so i doubt that's going to be the straw that makes her nutso.
now in a couple of years if i see her with paci in her mouth as she's wearing her school uniform, i may have to break out the big judgey guns.
I didn't know about the no formula/no bm thing but yes, in scientology they are not supposed to say "no" to their kids. they are treated like adults and can make their own decisions on everything....so if Suri wants to use a bottle til she's 12, she can.
OK, if I didn't think scientology was a joke before, I am now 100% positive it is. That's fvcked up...
OMG, you have no idea. I looked it up and was aghast. According to Scientology's "Scriptural Bulletin," L. Ron Hubbard got this recipe when he was in Ancient Rome (wtf?). It's 15 ounces of barley water, 10 ounces of homogenized milk (something that didn't exist in Ancient Rome, but why let that be an issue when you are already using measurements that didn't exist at the time) and 3 ounces of Karo Syrup or HONEY. Yes, he recommends giving newborns HONEY.
Why? Because modern women aren't Gurnsey enough to properly nourish a child.
Actually, there have been quite a few photos of Suri drinking from a bottle over the last couple of years. There was one photo back in the fall with Katie cradling Suri in a blanket while she drank from a bottle.
Ordinarily, I don't judge people's parenting styles, but seeing as they're taking notes from Scientology with Suri's upbringing, I judge.
