Progesterone supplements

If you took them - did you automatically get off them after 12 weeks?  Or is there ever a reason to continue?

    I took them and stopped at 13w3d (when they ran out).  My doc told me I could stop at 12 weeks, but told me that it wouldn't hurt anything if I took them longer.

    I know that some people do progesterone later in pregnancy also, but as far as I know, it's not very common.

    Ditto! I was told to stop at 12 weeks because your placenta will totally take over by then and they are no longer needed.

    my doctor had me take them to about 13 1/2 weeks, he said just to be on the safe side

    Same here.  Though I did just start with the pro shots at 16w through 36w.

    I took Crinone until I was 13 weeks.

    my dr said 12 weeks, too, but i dont think i have enough and they are expensive.  i might just finish up what i have and leave it at that.  i'll be 11 weeks on wed.
