Anybody know of any photography classes

Does anyone know of anyplace I can take photography class 101 for fun?  I'm in a rut these days and feel like I need a new hobby to enrich myself. I considered taking a course at a community college but it's difficult to find someone to watch DS while DH is at work.  It doesn't have to be anything fancy or hardcore...I just want to get out to do something for myself and learn basic picture taking skills.  TIA

    the best would be to do them through CCCC. they have "continuing ed" classes that run about $100 for 12 weeks of many many topics (basic photography, photoshop, etc etc). i am 99.9% sure they have them at night as well. 

    other than that - you could try a meetup group. they have a north texas photography club and although its not my style of photography, they show you the basics of things and ive heard they are really informative. they have specific ones on lighting, posing, how-to with your camera, the programs, etc...
