Baby Jogger City Mini vs Micro

Are you familiar with the differences between these 2 models?  I understand that they are built on the same frame, but the Micro doesn't have some of the features that the Mini has.  A few differences I know of 1) full recline vs 2-position recline, 2) amount of padding on the seat, and 3) shock absorption on the front wheel.  For the difference in price, are these dealbreakers?  Are we crazy to even consider the Micro, or should we just shell out the extra money to go for the Mini?

Thanks!!

Re: Baby Jogger City Mini vs Micro

  • We went with the mini and love it!  I really liked having the full recline and put DD in it as a tiny baby.  But the big thing for me is the huge sunshade on the mini - that is worth the money!

This.  Sunshade is totally worth it, IMO.

  • We have the mini too and it is AWESOME!  I agree w/the others, the sunshade on the mini is great and I don't think that the micro's is as large.
  • We will use the mini as our main stroller, so we like all the additional features.  If we were looking for a secondary stroller I would definitely look at the micro.
  • We will be getting the Mini for our umbrella stroller.

  • I considered both and am getting the city mini. People love them. I can't remember what the other differences are, but the baby jogger website has a table with the specifications for all of their strollers.
