Does anyone else have problems with Born Free bottles leaking?

I do!  It's not all the time, but often enough that it's sooo irritating.  We're going to transition her to a sippy at 12 months, so I'm not going to bother with buying different bottles, but I was just wondering if anyone can offer any tips?

From my google searches, I have found people say if they leak, they're not assembled properly.  Everything looks right to me as per the instructions.  I cannot for the life of me, figure out what I'm doing wrong... and only sometimes at that!

    YES and it drives us crazy!  You're right, it's not all the time, but when it does happen, it seems like it's when DD is the must hungry/impatient.  So annoying!

    Are you tightening them too tight? Is there a crack in the vent thingy? The only problem I've had is that a fewtimes the nipple collapses when DD is eating. I dont know what thats about.

    I've had this problem too, but I have never had a bottle leak.

    The only time it leaked was when the lid was not on properly. Other than that time they never do.

    I have only had them leak if I screw the top on too tight ...

    I've inspected for cracks, nope.  Thought I was putting them on too tight, so I tried doing it a bit looser, no luck :(

    Nope. Never. They're the only bottles that DON'T leak...for us.
