Hi...I am Tammy and will be 42 in May. I've been hanging out on the names board here recently...getting ideas and trying to stay positive. We have just transferred all 3 of our frozen embryos left over from our IVF #1 when I was 39 and hoping that it works. We are praying for a sibling for our 18 month old Zach.
I am 5dp5dt today...and am thinking about maybe POAS tomorrow (Sunday)...even though I realize that it may be a bit too early. The original plan was to POAS on Tuesday (after DH gets off work) at 8dp5dt...which is my deceased Grandpa's birthday (he helped raise me/adopted me after my mom passed away)...thought it would bring us good luck. But, I'd so much rather do it Sunday morning when DH and Zach can be present and it is fmu...besides if we are looking at twins/trips...it will show up then and it would kinda give us an insight as to whether we are looking at multiples...if that makes sense. lol I got a faint line at 10dp3dt with Zach...which is the same thing as 8dp5dt..which I'll be on Tuesday. So if it doesnt show up till then...likely 1 again. I am just wondering if it will ruin my PMA....even though I know it is very likely too early....it would be nice to see how early I can get a positive.
So what do you think? Anyone do this and keep the PMA ....when knowing that you are likely testing too early? Bad idea? Good idea?
Anyhow...just thought I'd stop by to say Hi and and send some baby dust to everyone while I am at it.
Re: Hi girls!
It is very funny that you say that...cause I think the same way. They're kinda like twins. I mentioned that to my family one day and my brother was like ..."Uh, no that does not make them twins in anyway shape or form." Yeah, whatever....they were concieved/fertilized on the same day. Anyhow, I did POAS this morning with my family...and even though it is very very early...I did get the faintest of pink lines already!!! You guys are the first to know. It is so faint that you have to turn the stick a bit to see it. lol But, it is there. Since, I got it this early...we may be looking at twins. I kinda knew at 2:30 this morning when I woke up to the dreaded metallic taste in my mouth and restless leg cramps...(they're common in my pregnancies).
I am hoping and praying for you all. Babydust to everyone!
