Hmm. If you definitely O'd, I guess it could be implantation bleeding which I have never experienced myself. I have read that implantation bleeding is usually very light pink. But your timeline indicates that it is probably too early for that. Don't really know. Have you gone off of BCP recently? If so, maybe your cycles are just really messed up. You mentioned that your periods are really light and short. Mine were lighter and shorter coming off of the pill than they were on the pill, which I thought was strange. On the pill, I would have one day of cramping and when I went off of the pill for the first 6 months, my periods were about 6 weeks apart, only about 3 days long and no cramping what so ever. Took about a year for me to have a "normal" period. Good luck figuring it out and I hope you feel ok.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...

Is it light or heavy? If it's light, it could be implantation bleeding. I've only had mid cycle bleeding once and it was because of a pap test. I have heard of others having mid cycle bleeding and then they were pg. GL!!!
BTW, I have never had any luck with FF. I've always had to input O manually.
not on BCP and have not been for a few years. not pregnant, no sex since last period or bloodwork so that would not be possible. It started dark and its been light. I have no clue, probably something else wrong now, with my luck.

I would maybe go get it checked out. If you cycles are pretty consistent, mid-cycle bleeding could be due to a lot of stuff. Maybe nothing, but you could have an infection. Even a bad yeast infection can irritate the cervix enough to cause bleeding. I had mid-cycle bleeding in my early 20's for about 6 months straight and it turned out that my cervix didn't have the extra layer of cells that most women get after puberty. Apparently I had the cervix of a 10 year old and it would get irritated and bleed. No pain or anything, but annoying. My OB said that a lot of wome get it after giving birth. Their cervix doesn't come all the way back from being effaced. I had not had a kid yet. Mine had never developed right I guess. Whatever, maybe TMI, but is an example of the random things that can cause random bleeding.

Let the dr know....I never had break through bleeding/spotting until bout a yr after DD was born. My re did a saline us and I had a small polyp that he removed. It was no big deal, but glad I had it taken care of so I had no issues with implantation (plus I knew my ute was nice and smooth). Also if you've had a m/c in the past few mo, it can cause occasional spotting. Good luck.
