Favorite Preemie Clothes Brand?

Hi Ladies,

As you can see from my ticker, I'm currently 14 weeks with triplets.  There is little doubt I will be joining you here at some point.  I'm trying to prepare for my little ones now, while I'm still mobile.  I know that if they end up in NICU I won't have to worry about clothing them, but once they come home, I'm assuming they'll still be too little for NB or 0-3 clothes.  Which brand and what types (gowns, footed PJs) of clothings have you found to work best for your itty-bitty ones?  TIA...

    my link below to "new nicu parents" has some information on preemie baby stuff..

    i would have to say probably carters- it's just precious stuff. (the REAL carters, not child of mine or just one year... though their's are pretty cute too.) it depends on how big they are though... and if they're long and fat, short and fat, short and skinny etc. there is, sadly, no continuity of sizing! ugh. it's also easier to get away with dresses and onesies that are too big as opposed to pants or sleepers, it's harder to deal with the "too long".

    gerber NB is pretty close to a preemie size... and wren was wearing some faded glory NB sizes when she came home too.

    We loved Carter's too.  I think Ella had every outfit they made.  E also wore her own clothes in the nicu.  When she was a real peanut she wore the Early birds brand (which I loved) but I hope that your trips don't need to wear the micro preemie stuff.  We also loved the zutano itzy bitzy clothes so nice and the patterns were great.  E outgrew her preemie stuff just about the time she came home from the hospital.  She wore the gerber onsies in nb while at the hospital and when she came home.  She mostly wore the carter's sleep and play snap suits in the nicu though.

    Another vote for Carters.  I also liked the Little Me brand stuff and when he got bigger, the baby gap and gymboree under 7 lbs size was good.  Our nicu let him wear outfits once he was about 3 lbs.  Sleep and plays with snaps were the easiest to get him in and out of (they didn't have to go over his head and the wires could come out the spaces btwn the snaps).

    Hoping your little ones stay in there for a long time!

    We got our coming home outfit from kushies.com.  I was also just at a Carter's store and they had some adorable stuff. Zutano.com aslo has a cute line called itzy bitzy. Gerber NB size might also work since that brand runs small.

    I will have to say Carter's but I also like miniwear (BRU).  I just love their clothes...they seem to fit better.
