Blended Families

Finally introducing myself...

Hi ladies!

So I have been a knot/nest/bump lurker for years...but
really hope to start posting now. I found the Blended Families
board about a year ago and feel as if I have learned so much.
So here is my introduction. I have been with my BF for almost
a year and a half. We have talked about a future together,
marriage, kids, but we are not engaged and no real plans on
taking it there in the near future. He has two sons, while technically
they are not my SS's, I'll refer to them as that to make it
simple(hope that's ok!).

They are from two previous relationships, double the fun
when it comes to BM's! NOT! Stick out tongue

Before I met my BF I would have said I could never/would never
date someone with kids. But I have truly fallen in love with
these two boys. And though it can be hard sometimes,
they make it worth it!

SS1 is 10 and SS2 will be 9 in June. With SS1, SS2, and
our three, crazy, wonderful, little boy dogs. On the weekends
our house is all testosterone, my girly self is way out numbered!

Wow, sorry this got so long!

I also come from a BF, with my Dad having three children
with his first wife, then three with my mom(2nd wife), then
dealing with thier divorce and him "living with/dating" his
first wife off and on most of my childhood, heh.

    Nope, he's a Maltese mix. I don't think I've ever given a westie a mohawk(I'm a dog groomer). But I love a Westies!

    Thanks for the welcome!

  • Hello and welcome! I have to join the mohawk discussion too, lol. Is it dyed blue as well?? I have a pug/terrier mix who is all white, so my sister dyed her zebra striped Stick out tongue

  • Yes we dyed it that day blue, but what I use comes out fairly easy. I've also dyed his ears and tail before, purple, blue, and green.

    Thank for the welcome!

  • Welcome to the board :)

     I LOVE the mohawk!!!

I have a Maltese... our dog groomer calls him the "Mal-Tooth" because he bites! :)

I will have to remember that! Haha! Although I must say its rare to have a naughty Maltese. There's a lot more little biters in other breeds I groom.
