Re: did your twins go to the NICU?
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Yes. They were born at 33w6d. Lucas came home (today) after 23 days and Elena is still in there.
Yes. They were born at 36w3d.
L only went for a couple of hours for observation and was in the room with me by the time I was out of recovery. A was in there for 4 days for respiratory distress and jaundice but was released the day me and L were set to go home, so we all came home together. We were very fortunate.
No NICU time. Born at 36w4d. They roomed with me and came home with me.
They did run some extra tests, just in case--like blood sugar the first 24 hours and then the car seat tolerance test before they could go home.
1 week.
yes, they were born at 31 weeks 5 days
Taylor- 24 days in the NICU. She was just a feeder/grower and had no major problems
Ellie- 39 days in the NICU. She had PDA surgery when she was 2 weeks old and after that was a feeder/grower
My babies were born at 32 w 6d and Matthew and Brady spent 23 days in the NICU, Aubrey 26 and Cameron 35 because he had hernia surgery on the 23 day and had a rough time coming out of the anesthesia.
