and. . . BFN

 I did a $ store and a FRER (I got $8.00 off the FRER at Rite Aid yesterday, I thought it was a good sign. . . )

 Both windows were STARK white.  I didn't think I had gotten my hopes up, but wow, it hurts.

This afternoon, I'm off to the RE with DH to find out our test results.  I'm really nervous now. 

DH is taking me away for the night for an early birthday celebration (it's a surprise where).  So, at least I can drink all the champagne and wine I want.  That is not comforting right now, but maybe when we're at dinner it will be.
 

ETA: Thanks for all your good wishes yesterday.  I'm sorry I sound so glum.  I will take the bump power into the RE with me!

    Sorry redsoxbono, its an emotional rollercoaster!!!!! I am waiting for an re appt, im nervous now il be a wreck when the time comes.....GL today and my prayers are with you both, im sure nothing will be found and it will be all good, hoping its just god waiting to land you a surprise when he thinks its time Big Smile (hugs)

    I'm so sorry.  I hate to see that stark white space where their should be a line.  Its what keeps me from POASing all the time. 

    Wishing you best of luck at the RE today - I really only think it can be a positive step. Even if their are issues with any of the tests - its best to know the problem so you can fix it.

    Aw, honey - we all know how stark that stark white is!

    How many days PO are you? Because it is possible that a blood test will pick up what a pee stick didn't.

    Either way, you are soon going to have a plan, and having a plan will really help you feel better - at least it did for me.

    I hope your test results come back stellar, or with something easily fixed. But whatever they say, it is best to know.

    Yay for your DH. Enjoy your birthday surprise, and, if the blood test says so, enjoy that champagne!

    Thanks girls!!!  I just got teary reading all of your responses!

    My RE office won't do a blood test until day 15 (Monday), so I'm taking the test this am as a go ahead to drink wine. 

    I just found out that we are bringing the dog to the RE, dropping him off at my parents' right after and then heading out to our surprise night!

    I am not going to even look at the bump again until the end of the weekend.  I am not abandoning you, just taking a break.

    Big hugs to you.  I'm sorry it's BFN, hoping you just got a bum test or it's too early.  I am 8dpo and keep looking for signs.  I know it's way too early, so I gotta stop, but I can't help it. 

    Have fun with your DH and Happy Early B-day!

    So sorry about the BFN {{hugs}}  The disappointment month after month just gets exhausting.  Hopefully the RE will give you some reasons, a game plan and some hope.  Have a great time on your surprise night away!  That was so great of your DH to plan. Happy early birthday!! CakeGiftDrinks
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    Sorry that you got a bfn, but hopefully at your RE you can get a lot of info that will help you in the process.  BTW, have a very happy early birthday celebration!  Wink

    1 ectopic 3 m/c's prior to 5/05 Un-freaking-explained IF 5/05 IVF, BFN 9/05 FET 3d5e, BFP = Beautiful Baby Girl (lucky pg #5) 8/08 Fet 3d5e, cp 12/08 IVF with PGD, transfer 3, BFN 5/09 FET transfer 4, BFN Hail Mary IUI with Follistim 9/11 BFP; 9/22 confirmed tubal/MTX 4/10 FET 3d5e, BFP!!!! m/c 5/26/10 1 year break and yet another m/c 5/11 FET #5 initial beat 121, second beta 7 Lap and removal of L tube and very mild endo 7/11 Suprise BFP 12/11 & m/c @ 8 wks. After 11 losses and one beautiful miracle our journey is over, we are thankful and at peace.

    GAH!  I was so sure this was going to be good news.  I am sorry.  I have been there too much myself lately.  Can I pass you the bottle of wine I am currently working on? I hope you have a happy night out, and a great cycle next month.  But it's not truly over until the old biddy shows up, right?  Just hoping for you....
