I did not yell today

All of you who struggle with yelling will appreciate this. Not only did I not yell but I didn't FEEL like yelling.  Every single yelling trigger passed calmly with a logical response.

I'm so happy.  I've worked so hard at this and never really believed I would have a day where not yelling would be effortless.  Of course it's a year + of effort.  But today?  No effort.

    It's funny you mention this...it made me realize that I never really lost my cool today either.  In part, my kids were super well behaved and easygoing all day, but even still, thanks for making me take note of it!  And, congrats, what a great feeling!

    ah, that's amazing!

    right now, I'm pretty sure only heavy drinking or serious meds (or both) could keep me from WANTING to yell, haha.

    Your kids are around the same age as mine, and I have been thinking lately how smoothly things are going. As in, I took them to the zoo on Monday alone, and to Costco today without incident!

    Hopefully it is smooth sailing from here (sarcasm). I'm glad to hear you had a good day!

    Congratulations on the great progress - I'm sure both you AND the kiddos felt good about today :)

    Keep it up - it's nice to hear the success stories!

    And maybe we need a daily YA meeting - haa haa!
