Hi everyone!! I'm so sorry to have missed the post yesterday; I was out of town for work Monday thru Wednesday and it threw my whole schedule out of whack. It looks like we have several new baby girls on the way based on last week's post. And several new moms as well!! - congrats!!
Lots of work drama going on for me this week. I learned, first through the grapevine and then officially, that my boss is leaving my group for a promotion and new role. I love my boss and while happy for him, I'm unhappy at the thought of a new boss. In addition, I had reason to believe I would be considered for his position and have since learned that I will be "considered" in principle but the choice has pretty much already been made. However, it is hard for me to be too upset because the truth is, I'm not sure I want to take on the additional responsibility right now, especially with a baby on the way. So lots of conflicting feelings going on in my world.
Things are pretty quiet with the baby, I seem to be developing an increased appetite but other than that nothing new. Our amnio is scheduled for a week from today and we are just waiting on that.

Ugh! I feel like my belly is going to explode! I've got about 3 1/2 until my EDD and I seriously don't know how I'm going to make it. My little lady is overgrowing her digs at One Uterus Place.
Other than that, everything is done.
A good week, except for the painful sleeping at night. My pillow fortress is pretty impressive, at this point.
Looking forward to my first shower on Sunday afternoon-- a casual get-together of friends & co-workers. We started getting some gifts this week--very cute blankets & towels, and the first toy that makes electronic noises that make our pugs bark, so it's all getting really real & really cute.
DH is repainting the baby's room tonight, after first color turned out strange on the walls. Sat. we finish the painting and go carpet shopping. So much to do...
Updating:
Just received the call about the rescheduling of my US. The US was rescheduled for April 29th. It's just 9 days later than the original date, so that's not too bad, but I'm still so very anxious to know what we are having. I just hope the time goes by rather quickly.

Hi Ladies. Absolutely nothing new this week on the baby front (and I guess no news is good news, right?). 18 weeks today so almost half way there. Starting to stress out a little about what will happen when baby is born (day care, returning to work, etc.). But I keep telling myself it will all work out which seems to help.

went to Sea World, in SD yesterday, had a bast. Felt great the whole day. By the time I got home... my ankles were killing me, especially the left, and found I had some brown spots on my underwear. Nothing when I wiped, no cramping or anything. I figured if I had anymore I would call.
I laid down on the sofa for about 30 min, when I got up to go to bed with DS, everything from my waist down hurt, except baby. My back hurt, my pubic bone, my hips, all the way down to my toes.
I told DH I didn't want to take anything in case I started cramping I needed to feel it, he agreed.
I slept as well as I can now a days, woke up and I get some pubic pan when I 1st stand up, but my legs and feet are what are really bothering. No more spotting, so I am thinking maybe I was just on my feet for too long, only 6 hours, including shows. I do have partial placenta previa, but the Dr. only said pelvic rest. My OB is out until monday, I have no clue who is covering for him, he has his own practice. I have an appt on Tues with Vag u/s to see how the pp is doing. I think I will try to hold out and just relax this weekend.
The baby has been great and just tumbling around. Sometimes he stretches out and it feels funny!Could I be added?

Update: I had my third beta yesterday and things are still progressing. I will have one more Monday, and if things are good, we will schedule my first ultrasound.

Not much to report, just rolling along.
Interviewing doulas next week, that's about it!
I am overdue and miserable. Our LO is showing absolutely no signs of wanting to come out anytime soon. I'm only 2 cm dilated and having very few BH contractions.
I had an appointment on Wednesday with a fetal NST, u/s to check the fluid level, and internal. Everything is normal and our little guy is doing just fine.
I have another NST tomorrow, and another u/s on Monday. I can keep waiting if I want, but DH and I decided that if he's not out on his own by Monday, we're asking the doctor to schedule an induction ASAP. I wish I could be more patient, but I'm just so uncomfortable and they are estimating that he's 8 pounds already, so I don't want him to get too much bigger. We know his due date is accurate because he was very much planned and tried for, so he's fully baked, heading for overbaked!
Anyways, hopefully for next week's update I can say that our little man is here!!!!!!!

In Physical Therapy 3 times a week.
Nonetheless, we are super excited about our little one!
I think I am a little late checking in but here it is... I am feeling pretty crappy honestly, I am still absolutely exhausted. I think I have a little cold or allegies. Food is either completely gross or I am starving to death, nothing in between. I am totally showing, and am wearing maternity pants as I sit here at work. Plus poor little B cut 3 teeth over the weekend and is not feeling well at all!
I got my hair done at 12 weeks and 4 days. I could not handle the grey anymore. It was the same price as it always is but since I have been working part time it seemed much more expensive than it used too, I am feeling a little guilty.

Hi Everyone
I think I'm checking in late. All is well here.. starting to feel a tiny bit uncomfortable at night. LO is squirming on my bladder causing me to hit the john once every 15 minutes making it tough to sleep. Passed my GD test last week. Whoo hoo. All is looking good except a minor iron deficiency so I'm upping my meat intake.
