Which would you recommend? I've heard a lot of good things about both but it seems that those who have the Mobi Cam and had the Summer Infant Video Monitor prefer the Mobi Cam.

we have a Mobi, and it's had a few issues. We leave it on 24/7, so that might've been why, but the monitor started going hazy/fading out altogether.. so we had to send it back. It took 4 wks (urgh), but it did get fixed. I dunno.. I've heard lots of good things about Summer Infant.
Here's another question I forgot about the Summer Infant Video Monitor. Can you put a camera in two rooms (we need on in DD's room and one in DS' room) and can you toggle back and forth between both cameras?

We have two summer handheld ones. I like them a lot. I have a camera in each of the girls room and on the monitor you can see both rooms by switching channels from A to B or B to A. You can't see both rooms at the same time though on ours. Not an issue though because the girls rooms are so close to each other.
No experience with the Mobi but we have the Summer Infant one and LOVE it. No problems in the 2 yrs we have had it. I know people have raised kids for an eternity without video monitors but DH and I say all the time how much we couldn't imagine not having it!
We've had the Summer handheld for 4 years. We got a second camera when #2 was born. The only problem is the rechargable batteries wearing out, but we've purchased 2 in 4 years, for about $10 each.
DS #3 diagnosed at birth with panhypopituitarism - lack of pituitary function. He is treated with thyroxine, hydrocortisone, growth hormone and testosterone.
