mirena question

I had the mirena put in back in January and I've only gone about 2 weeks without bleeding at all. I'm not bleeding heavily, just consistently spotting. Did this happen to anyone else or should I put a call in to the dr?

    Unfortunately, I had a lot of spotting for 8 months.  It was a couple of months of solid spotting and then a "period" of spotting that lasted 2 weeks of each month for 8 months.  I told myself I'd give it a year before I gave up.

    I bleed for a solid 5 weeks and then spotted for another 3 weeks.  After that I had nothing until I had it removed.

    I had mine placed in Nov. and I just not stopped bleeding (a week ago). It can take up to 6 months for your body to adjust to it.
