WWYD: Formula vs. BM for the weekends

For the weekend daytime feedings, should I give formula or frozen bm?  We are still nursing morning/night, but DD takes formula fine too.  I still have a couple hundred ounces frozen that gets sent to daycare for her bottles there, but I really want to give her some bm until she's at least 10 months old.

Decisions, decisions! :)

  • I wouldn't want to pay for formula if you have frozen breast milk. Can you not nurse during the day on the weekends? Less bottles to clean is always a plus in my book.

  • I would just give formula, but only because I had a oversupply, so I would be in a lot of pain come Monday if I nursed the whole weekend.

No, I'm not pumping during the day anymore so my body has regulated to only have milk (enough for a feeding anyway) in the evening/mornings.

  • Why not use BM if you have it?
  • I'd spread it out so that she can receive BM longer.

  • I'd give BM.
