    But he is inactive now.  He was in for 8 years since '99.

    He wore his dress blues for our wedding and has retired them now..lol

    hoo-yah AND hoo-rah... we get the best of both worlds!

     

    My hubby just left this morning for some week long pre-deployment training with his Marines on the USS New York (the ship built out of the World Trade Center steel) and he is pretty excited.

    and ooohhh he's a corpsman?  Very special guy you have there,  my husband was in infantry, and really depended on them..thank your H for his service Big Smile

    Marine Wife here! DH has been active duty for a little over 6 years now. He has extended twice due to needing more men for deployment, Getting out of the service in October :)

    I am an Army wife as well! DH is just about to hit his two year mark, which means we have at least two years left, but I am definitely still a newbie when it comes to being a military wife!

    I'm not a military wife or mom but I just wanted to say wow I seriously don't know how you guys do it! You guys must all be such strong women! Those men are so lucky to have wives like you guys to be so strong and be able to hold everything at home together while they are away! I personally dont think I would be able to do what you guys do. Your all true inspirations to women everywhere! Thank you for having such strong willed men to defend America...I'm not American I'm Canadian but your families are in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you to your families for everything you have done and everything you have given up. I know I truely appreciate it.

     We are in Kodiak!!!  When did you transfer?  We transferred here in 2008 from Cape Cod.  Where did you work while here?  My husband is at the airstation on the 60's.  Are you liking VA?

It was such an easy job. Now I am back in the real Coast Guard doing work. My husband is an AET1, and I'm a YN2. What is your husband? We like Virginia, but are hoping to go to Clearwater, FL next. I bet we know some of the same people! How do you like Kodiak?

    I'm not a military wife either, but my BIL is in the Navy. I very much appreciate the sacrifice each and everyone of you and your DH's make so that the rest of us can live the way we do.  Thank you to you all and your DH's.

     We were, but we extended for  a year, so we will be leaving in 2012.  You?  Good luck in getting Clearwater and good luck with your pregnancy! Are you having a boy or a girl?

     I served in the Coast Guard, and separated  2 months ago!

    My Hubby is AD still but in the Army
