Medela -- they make it so easy...

So I had my son last week and he arrived before my due date so I hadn't completed the must get items from my registry.  I had an Ameda Purely Yours pump on a registry and was waiting to see if a family member would purchase it.  I chose Ameda due to recommendations, price and quality from what i heard ( I was told it was the same quality as the freestyle but had the benefit of a closed system).  However, after giving birth and using a Medela symphony in the hospital, I would recommend their products.  I think their partnership with several hospitals makes it so easy to choose them.  I had a good experience with the symphony and the hospital gave me several accessories that can be interchanged with any Medela system.  As soon as I got home I gathered all my coupons and gift cards and made an investment in a good pump, the MedIela pump in style.  I hope I remain a satisfied customer.

  • Congrats on your newborn!  The hospital I go to has Medela Symphony and also sell the Pump In Style, everyone says the investment is worth it.  I was luckily enough to win a Pump In Style in a raffle.

  • I love Medela.  Their customer service rocks.  I have both the PISA and the Swing.  I am on my second PISA because the motor broke in the first one.  Medela overnighted my new pump.  I had to buy a Swing so I wouldn't lose my supply.  I am very happy with these pumps.

  • I've used The Symphony, Lansinoh Affinity, and The Medela freestyle and all three are great.  The only reason I bought the Freestyle after I had the Affinity was because I don't have a really private place to pump at work and the freestyle is not as loud.  I wish the freestyle had the options the affinity does, then it would be a perfect pump.  The Affinity is my at home pump and the freestyle is my at work pump.  Oh if they only let you try them before buying them or atleast hear what they sound like.  Going from the symphony to a commercial pump was a huge adjustment.

  • I registered for the Medela pump in style and have heard nothing but good things about it. This is just another reassuring post. I am glad that it's working well for you.
