So...I have been up since 3am having contractions every 6 mins apart. Called the hospital they told me to come in...I did, they monitered me for a couple hours and the contractions actually got down to 2 mins apart and more intense! I am 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced and they told me that I might not dilate anymore because of previous surgery on my cervix. So what do they do....they sent me home! I am so upset....if I am not going to dilate anymore then what is sending me home going to do??? Oh and my doc is on vacation this week so the oncall doc. made this call.....grrrr!!!

Oy. That doesn't sound right. Keep track of those contractions and head back in when you feel it's time. You know your body, so don't take no as an answer. I hope you start dilating on your own so you can go back in and show them up.
