I need to be stupid for a moment...please answer.

If the weather forecast said "sunny and 70", what would you dress your kid in?

Would shorts and a polo be enough?

I ask because sunny and 70 and I'd be fine in shorts but I'm very hot natured.

    70 is definitely shorts weather for me.  It's windy here 99% of the time, so I'd probably send a light jacket or a sweatshirt along as well, just in case.

    I would do a lighter pant, short sleeve shirt with a pullover or sweater so if it got too warm you could remove a layer.

    for Michelle yes for me no...I myself would be wearing capris.  I'm always running cold and Michelle is always running hot.

    I would probably add a hoodie to that.  Can't go wrong with layers.

    That's what I was thinking too.

     My kids are entering the university's baseball field with the players tonight and of course they'll be wearing stuff with the school logo.  But what they have is summery stuff.  I just don't want them to freeze.

    Is the 70 and sunny the high temp for the day or the projected evening temp?  If its the day's high, I would keep in mind it will most likely be cooler later and send them in light pants and a hoodie.

    Yodajo, I checked the hourly temp for when we're supposed to be at the field.  Its projected to be sunny and 70 when we arrive for the game.

    I am always cold, so I would do pants, but that is just me.  Have fun!

    DS is beside himself with excitement.  He's the biggest sports fan I know and he's only 5!  He knows the scores/outcomes of every single MS State football, LSU football, Saints football, and Louisiana - Lafayette baseball game.  Its insane.  He's going to be hoarse from screaming but this is heaven for him so I don't mind one bit!

    i don't do shorts until it hits like 78...  well, i never do shorts (i'm a capri girl) but i put the kids in shorts at high 70's and above.  I'm always cold.
