Do you love your Ergo?

I've been debating buying one for months. Will is 7 months old and I still put him in the Baby Bjorn quite a bit; I'm thinking that the Ergo might be better for him long-term. If you have one, do you love it? Do you always wear LO in front or do you sometimes wear it as more of a backpack? If so, can they still see over your shoulder? I'm either buying it today or moving on.

Also, just for fun, what color/pattern do you have?

I'll let you know after tomorrow! I bought one off BabySteals and I'm going shopping with my mom tomorrow so I'll be using it for the first time. I tried it around the house and it seems very comfy. I have the black organic with embroidery - not what I would have chosen if I could have had something different, but it was the only one left by the time I got to BabySteals.

DH uses ours, and DD has only just started to like it. (We have a really ugly one that DH chose - black with this blue-green pattern on the hood). I find it hard to put on when I'm alone, so I stick with my sling (hip carry) or my Moby. But I do think it's great. We had a Bjorn but quickly gave it away because it hurt to wear! The Ergo does not hurt.

I love love love the ergo. DS took a 2 hour nap in it yesterday. It's so much more comfortable than the bjorn. I haven't triedthe backcarry yet so I'm not sure how well LO can see. You can try asking the AP ladies. I also love that the ergo has a pocket. It's very convenient for when we're out or on a walk. I have the cranberry color.

I LOVE my Ergo. I really liked it when I first got it but the infant insert made it a little uncomfortable. Now that we don't use the insert anymore I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It's my top recommended thing for new moms when people ask me

So far Nico seems uncomfortable in it. He liked it as a newborn with the infant insert and I hope he'll like it when he gets a little bigger.

we have the ergo sport - so just plain black - but nice cool fabric for warm weather.

I do love it. I've worn it on my back and in front. It gets easier to put on each time. You can also do a hip carry, which I haven't tried yet. I use it around the house and I like it a lot outdoors.

I have the galaxy gray pattern.

yep, both DH and I love it. we are about to try wearing her on the side soon. so far she is just in the front.
