hi guys!
my 18 month old daughter has recently learned to climb out of her crib....more accurately, she jumps. she's done it twice now, and i'm afraid she's going to hurt herself. however, i don't think she's ready for a 'big girl bed.' i've heard that you can get some sort of net for the top of the crib, but that just seems odd. any suggestions?
thanks!!!!
Re: my daughter can climb out of her crib.....
My daughter managed the same thing not too long ago... I just went ahead and got her a ikea twin bed because it was so low to the ground but I sectioned off a path (blocked out the bathroom and other side of hallway, ect) every night with child gates to go my bedroom in case she woke up before me. I even pulled everything further from the head of her bed and put a pillow down for a bit there just so she could transtion properly without geeting spooked from a fall.
I thought about the netting too but read that its really not to keep the baby in more so to keep things and pets out, like cats. And I had this terrible fear of my daughter still trying to get out and getting all tangled up. EEK!
