I know everyone does them these days...and I guess that's why I DIDN'T want to do it. I did a molding of her 1st initial instead, from this company: https://www.mariericci.com/ideas.asp

I was so against the name on the wall. We just got back from visiting my SIL. And she had them on both her girl's walls. My DH liked it (he'd never seen it) - he surprised me with letters on his last Home Depot trip....
I'm not planning on doing them. DH really likes them, but they are just so overdone to me. Maybe we can compromise in some other way...like having her name somewhere else, but not in wall letters. I dunno.

We're not planning on it, but we're also not planning on finding out the sex of the baby which I think plays a part in it somewhat. Once the baby arrives and we have a name for it, I don't think I'll have time to think about wall letters!
I am so anti-lettering though I do really like those letters. As you can see from my bio that we didn't do the letters. I did however have a painting done by a friend and it has her first and middle names on it. We wanted to have something special made for her room, but also recognize the origin of her name (Amelia Earhart). I'll post pictures when we get it (hopefully before Amelia arrives).
Re: Anyone else NOT do baby's name in letters on the wall?
Hey Kel!

I love what you did in Miss K's room
I love the letters too. Thanks for the link. Also, I LOVE the bows that Kendall has in her hair. Where do you get them? I think I need to buy some.
Thanks!
