S/O Dinner - what is your go-to meal?

You know the meal that you make when you don't feel like making anything else, or you know that everyone will eat it, or you simply have everything on hand for it?

I have 2 - Pesto Chicken Pizza and Chicken Enchiladas both are easy and yummy!

Re: S/O Dinner - what is your go-to meal?

  • very very easy.

put in the bottom of a casserole dish, top with mashed potatoes, layer on top green beans and corn.

Bake in the oven. until all warm.

Easy comfort food. And gisele loves it.

  • Baked chicken legs (brush on olive oil & sprinkle on garlic salt and pepper) & fried rice (made from those little yellow seasoning packets in the Chinese aisle).  YUM!
  • round beef, crackers cheese and katsup! everyone loves meatloaf. Serve with a veggie and some mashed potatos.
  • spaghetti and meatballs (I freeze sauce), soups (you just throw whatever in - so easy), and chicken pesto tortellini.

  • These all sound YUMMY!! Has everyone submitted them to the SAHM recipe blog yet?? I haven't done mine....

::Makes a mental note to submit::

  • BBQ Chicken (just pour on some BBQ sauce and bake) with one of those corn on the cob (frozen) and salad.

If I have all day, chicken tacos.  Just throw some frozen chicken, a taco seasoning mix packet and a drained can of diced tomatoes in the crockpot and cook all day.  At night, put all of that, along with lettuch, sour cream, cheese, etc. in flour tortillas.

  • Chicken fried rice. It's best to use left over rice. It works better and it's a 1 pan meal.

Dice some chicken, toss in frying pan and cook till mostly done. Stir in some rice, soy sauce, frozen veggies. Cook till warm, serve. Voila.

  • Spaghetti or chicken alfredo. I have chicken and hanburger both cooked and freezed (froze(n??) - lol) and I can just throw that in with some pasta and sauce.
