DH bday ideas??

I need ideas of what to get DH for his bday. It's this coming Saturday. I want to do something from Kayles and something from me. Not sure what. We're going to dinner with a whole bunch of family & friends that night and it was supposed to be a surprise but that got busted. Not sure what to do for an actual gift. Any bright ideas?

    You could go to a painting place..idk if you have them up here..but its called Paint A Memory, and you can pick out anything you want, say a tile, and paint her hands, and put them on the tile and bam...cute handprints on a tile for him :D Or even just a card and have her scribble on it.

    Ok..just checked..there aren't any up here..but I was at BRU the other day and there is a place thats similar..Its called Trout Creek Pottery and they'll be at BRU in Tigard on Saturday..so I guess that wouldn't work out too well :(

    DH and I got a sitter and took a cooking class together at Sur la Table and he loved that. Also if he likes to play sports, perhaps a personalized jersey. DH told me that was his favorite gift, his was a football jersey with our last name on it. Go to groupon.com and check out today's side deal, they have a half price fire throwing class! Totally out there but just a thought if he's adventurous. Perhaps a hiking carrier for the little one so you can go hiking this summer or a bike trailor for bike rides? My other ideas for my DH right now are satellite radio and a new bluetooth stereo for his car. That's all I can think of right now. Good Luck!

    something Video Game related!  Does he have a handheld video game system, like a Nintendo DSi or Sony PsP?  I got DH a DSi for his birthday last year.  For DH's birthday this summer I'm trying to either save up for a flat panel high def. tv for our bedroom (it would have to a "good" one or he wouldn't want it).  Or a Nintendo Wii (we used to have one but then he wanted an Xbox again, but he still wished we had the Wii).  Or if I can't save up for one of those then whatever video games or movies he is dying for at that time.  My husband is pretty easy, he is a big electronic/video game/computer geek.. but he's expensive and spoiled!

    Thanks so much for all the ideas ladies! I think he has all the games he needs right now (I'm sure there's more he wants, but too bad! haha) and I did the personalized jersey a couple years ago. The Sur La Table class sounds like fun! I had forgotten I wanted to do that sometime. I'll have to look into it. I did end up ordering a couple pics from the photo session our playgroup had where I dressed Kayles up in Blazer attire that he doesn't know about so I'm going to either buy or make a frame and give him that when I get the pictures. We'll see what else I can come up with!
