**Weekly Lovenox Ladies Check-in**

Hi Everyone,

This is a check-in for all of us doing once or twice daily shots of Lovenox, Heparin, Fragmin, etc.  This is a place for us to share our frustrations, worries and triumphs.  What is new this week?  How is everyone feeling?  Any new injection tips for the newbies?

QOTW:  Are you taking any medication in addition to the blood thinner (aspirin, extra vitamins, etc)?  If so, what and how much?  Does your doc prescribe you a special Prenatal Vitamin because of your disorder?

    Hello lovely Lovenox ladies!

    I am feeling pretty good this week. I think I MIGHT be turning the corner!! I also found out I have an anterior placenta. Booo. I was hoping to feel baby soon. Oh well.

    I am also on Folgard (Fabb Tabs) and baby aspirin. I take 2 Fabb Tabs a day, and a normal prenatal.

    I'd love to join the group.  I'm on Lovenox 2x daily for homozygous FVL but also hetero for MTHFR.  My EDD is 8/24 but surely these babies will come earlier than that.  ;)

     

    QOTW:  In addition to Lovenox, I take 1 baby aspirin and 4 mg of extra folic acid each day.  My peri and OB do not feel that I needed to be on a special PNV.  Oh, and I take extra calcium too.

    Here...now on light activity, working from home part time and otherwise staying off my feet!  Almost 32 weeks!

    I am taking: blood pressure meds (procardia), folic acid (foltx) because of MTHFR, prenatal vitamin (the one marketed with better folic acid, don't recall the name), glyburide (gestational diabetes), calcium (for  bones while taking Lovenox)...oh, and a small dose of Lexapro to keep me sane (saner? sanish?).

    QOTW: I'm on one baby aspirin a day plus they have me taking additional calcium vitamins because of the lovenox.

    QOTW: I am taking a prenatal, calcium and folic acid (in hopes to reduce my risk of getting pre-e again)

    I was put on bedrest Tuesday after having a lot of bleeding and clots Tuesday morning, baby still had a heartbeat :) I am supposed to go back to work Monday as long as I have no more bleeding.

    Hi everyone!

    My doctor gave me some B6 supplements, but that is for morning sickness, not related to Lovenox/clotting.

    I am taking PNV-DHA.  I'm not sure if there is anything more special about it from other pre nat vitamins.  Also taking Folgard for extra folic acid.

    Does anyone know if there is a generic for Folgard?  I used to take a Folgard generic but then my pharmicist told me the maker of it wasn't making it anymore.

    Hi ladies! I had an appt this morning - my first official appt with my OB. She took forever trying to find LO's hb, but she did eventually. Everything with me is going well. I don't go back for another three weeks.

    QOTD: I take a prescribed PNV (but I don't know that there's anything special with it), baby aspirin, synthroid (because of hypothyroidism), and extra folic acid for the MTHFR.
