Which is the better hospital to deliver: St Jo's or BJC?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me out.  My OB is at SSM Medical Park in St. Peters and I love her!!! The only two options we have to deliver are at St Joseph Saint-Charles or at Barnes-Jewish St-Peters... Please give me some feedback on the best hospital to deliver based on those two choices... I've heard good and bad for both hospitals....

    I don't know much about St. Joe's, but I delivered at a Barnes-affiliated hospital, and would highly recommend it. My cousin had her baby at Barnes- St. Peters, and she had a good experience.

    I am delivering at Barnes St. Peters.  I work for BJC, so I didn't have much of a choice, but so far I have had a good experience at the hospital, and have heard good things from others.

    I am in the same situation. I toured both and got a better feel about Barnes, but my husband seems to think the nurse was just a good salesman. What negative things have you heard about the hospitals? It is such a tough decision.
