Hello everyone....obviously I am new on this board. I am looking for some advice. I am 7 weeks pregnant and my jeans are just a little snug. Snug enough that they are getting uncomfortable, yet I definately can not fit in to maternity. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to wear other than my sweat pants!! I thought I was gaining a ton of weight, but I have actually lost weight. Early shower I guess??
I highly recommend the Bella Band or Tummy Sleeve...It is basically a band that looks like a tank top and goes over the top of your pants. It lets you leave them unzipped a little but they still stay up! It is a genious invention and I wish I thought of it!! I am 12 weeks and still wearing my regular pants...Just some of them are a little snug and this helps! HTH! M
I just bought a pair of rayon/spandex crop pants w/ very roomy legs for the heat of the summer; I bought a large, which fits me just fine right now, even a little loose, but if I stretch them out, they go forever...I'll be wearing them the entire pregnancy, I'm sure. If anyone's interested in the brand, they're Gilligan & O'Malley, called "modal/spandex crop pant" & I got them at Target. The great thing is, you can just about get them in the size you are now (maybe one-up) and wear them forever, even post-pregnancy. They were only 14.99...so not a budget buster. Hope this helps!
I have been using a bella band, and have been wearing a lot of my stretchy pants and skirts. However, I also bought a pair of maternity jeans because I was getting uncomfortable in my others. They are my most comfy pants now and I look forward to casual Friday so I can wear them. The ones I got are the Secret Fit Belly ones from Motherhood. The belly part is a really thin stretchy material similar to the camis I wear under stuff so it will stretch throughout the entire pregnancy. Wouldn't hurt to invest in a good pair of maternity pants now...

I also really love the secret fit belly. I am almost 30 weeks now and the secret fit is the only type I have bought that isn't uncomfrotable at this stage in the pregnancy- the under belly are falling down and the mid-belly pants press on my uterus and hurt.
Re: Pants too tight....
Bella Band. I'm 24 weeks and using it to keep my maternity pants up. It's a good investment

Try to find elastic wasted pants or even draw string. Also there are pants called "before and after" that are fabulous.
I still have to wear my "early pregger" clothes so it certainly is worth it I think.
