DayCare ?!?!?!?!

So I'm looking into daycares already and several places laugh and several places make me think I am starting late because they don't even have openings until next March!  Anyway, I am trying to find a decently priced daycare in the Woodlawn or Columbia (Maryland) area- any advice or referrals?
