Long story short (and after they offered me an appointment on April 23 !!) pediatric GI couldn't take her until next Tuesday. Regular pedi says no, we can't wait, so we'll admit her to the hospital tonight and hopefully get some answers.
The last time we took her to the hospital (two weeks ago - middle of the night - high fever, throwing up, and of course diarrhea) nothing came of it. Hopefully this time, since our doctor is actuall telling us to go to the hospital in the light of day - in fact right now I'm waiting for a call for them to tell me when a bed is free (I assume so I don't have to admit her through the ER) - maybe we'll start to get some answers. She's been throwing up for three days, and has had diarrhea for, let's see, 5 weeks straight.
Please Lordy Lord let's get some answers, or at least get an IV into her so she doesn't get dehydrated.

I'm so sorry for your DD. Poor baby. I can't imagine how stressful and scary this is for you.
I hope you are able to get some answers very soon.
I hope they are able to give you some answers and your DD is feeling better soon!
Lots of good thoughts to you!
Hope you get some answers and that DD feels better soon!
I hope things have lightened up a bit since yesterday for your little one (and you).
I feel for you, my now 12 year old went through something similar on and off for a few years and finally they gave it a name: Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS). We carry dissolvable Zofran w/ us everywhere to this day!
When something hits her, whether it's a bug, the flu, whatever, my daughter will throw up and have diarrhea for DAYS if we don't take the Zofran. If we don't catch it in time, or if for some reason it doesn't "work" then it's off the the ER, they know us now, and immediately hooked up to an IV, w/ 2 doses of Z.
