EHM13 Routine or elective treatment for pregnancy within the first 32 weeks of the pregnancy. EHM14 Pregnancy, childbirth or complications thereof after the 32nd week of pregnancy.
I have never heard that you are uninsurable after a certain point. Who mandates that?
Just for travel insurance. It prevents you from deciding to hop across the border and gain US (or other) citizenship for your child at the insurance company's expense (mighty high expense at that). I think it makes total sense.
And it's only insurance related to care of pregnancy or baby. If you go break my leg across the border, you are still insured.
Re: Travel insurance
Most are 30-32 weeks.
CIBC travel insurance was 32 weeks for us.
When I had been looking, someone else suggested this place also.

Their exclusions for pregnancy are:
EHM13 Routine or elective treatment for pregnancy within the first
32 weeks of the pregnancy.
EHM14 Pregnancy, childbirth or complications thereof after the 32nd
week of pregnancy.
Thanks for the help! I will look into that.
