how to make scrambled egg yolks please?

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but when you make scrambled egg yolk, do you add in cow's milk like you do with regular scrambled eggs or do you add in prepared formula or nothing at all?  Also, how much to add per egg yolk?  I ususally just eye it when I make scrambled eggs but making a small batch of egg yolk scrambled makes me question this for some reason.

Gianna was not interested in hardboiled egg yolk so I want to try something different.

Thanks!

  • I used cow's milk, about 2 TBS per yolk and whipped it for a long time. it's hard to get fluffly when there is no white.

  • Thanks!  I was wondering what the consistency would look like without the egg white.  I'll try it this weekend.

  • I just eyeballed it too... I make about 4 yolks at a time and send them to daycare for 2-3 days worth of finger food. If you beat them really hard for a few minutes they get a little frothy.. but I found they are certainly less fluffy than full egg scrambles.
